I really think more parents should consider getting portraits made of their school age children.  We tend to get lots portraits of our children when they are little, and then again when our children are seniors in high school.  But sometimes the 'tween' years can be overlooked.  We get so busy with work, school, sports, and other activities that its hard to fit anything extra in.  A lot of parents only have that school picture  to send to the grandparents and that's it. And let's admit, the school picture is usually not the best!  I'd love to shoot more children in the 'tween' years and be able capture their unique style and personality. 

That is why I am now offering single child mini sessions. These are available whenever I'm available on an ongoing basis.

For just $75 I will meet with your child, age 6 or older, for a 30 minute session and get some images just of them.  We will have a great time and show off their great personality!  For your $75  you will receive a viewing gallery of 10-15 images, from which you can choose 3 digital images to download!   Additional images and prints will be available for purchase.

A couple of weeks ago, my good friend Susan of Susan Edge Photography accompanied me on a really fun session with 11 year old future heart-throb Michael. 

We experimented with new locations and just had great time together!  Michael was so sweet, and up for trying anything we came up with.

And as mentioned earlier, my great friend and wonderful photographer Susan Edge came along on this session.  So you get a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse of your photographer in action!

And Susan also does a wonderful job with children and teens.  Here is my favorite image she took of Michael at this session. She risked her neck climbing up on a little railing to capture this!  I love the colors and textures she captured here:
