My son Micah loves wearing his 'heart shirt'. I got it for him from my friend Janea, who made the shirts to raise money for a medical fund for her daughter Haleigh. Haleigh has a number of medical conditions including a seizure disorder and cerebral palsy. She is having surgery later this month and would love to have 1000 'likes' on her Facebook page before the surgery. So please go click 'like' on her page!
Micah also loves jumping on our neighbor's trampoline. I had a more perfect shot of my son Jacob jumping that I was going to use for the I Heart Faces challenge this month. Jacob is older and takes direction better and I could predict his movements better. Micah jumped so high here that he didn't quite stay in the frame. That is ok. I'm trying to remember that letting go of perfections can lead to lots of fun. I trying to remember to let the kids get dirty as much as possible. I'm trying to remember to have fun with my camera instead of worried about perfection all the time. I'm trying to write this blog post even though I can never find the correct words for what I'm trying to say!
I love this image even though its messy. I love that he was wearing his heart shirt. I love that his hand covers the "e" in Hope, making it look like his shirt says "Hop". Imperfect. Ironic. I love it.
