Little Emma's mother contacted me wanting something simple and girly for her newborn portraits.  After having a few boys to photograph, I was excited to do something different.  Emma was a perfect baby and slept through her session like a dream.

I love using family heirlooms in my newborn sessions.  This hat and blanket were used by Emma's mother when she was a baby.

Emma is a such beautiful baby, and I really enjoyed working with her mother to capture this tiny newborn stage of Emma's life.
