Bentley's sweet mama and grandma brought him into the studio at just 9 days old for his newborn session. They didn't realize that its often necessary to book a newborn portrait session before the baby is born, but thankfully I was able to squeeze him in to my schedule during that precious window where babies are still very sleepy and curl up easily. Bentley's grandmother commented that she chose me to take his portraits because she wanted someone who was really a newborn photography professional. I'm glad my portfolio and years of experience won her over! Bentley did so good for his session and slept so peacefully the whole time. We were able to get a great variety of shots!
Bentley's family are big UGA fans, so I photographed him with this cute little bulldog lovie.
And speaking of lovies, Bentley's grandmother loved the images of babies holding the little bears and other animals in my portfolio. So I incorporated them into a lot of his portraits.
I I also incorporated a little red heart since Bentley's birthday fell very close to Valentine's Day.
II was also able to incorporate and hunting and forest animal theme in some of the images, using some antlers his mom brought to the studio and also a little knitted fox bonnet set they picked out from my collection.
