I know this is a season of disappointments for many. There are events and celebrations that we all are missing, and that we will never be able to get back or 're-do'. I have had to shut down my studio temporarily, and I miss photographing babies terribly! I lost my motivation for shooting and barely picked up my camera for weeks. So I was excited when the shelter in place orders ended and Connor's mom contacted me to take a few senior photos for his graduation announcements. That was a session I could do and still social distance at 6 feet away!
Connor was so patient, polite and sweet during his session. Connor played baseball and ran cross country in high school. So we made sure to take some portraits on the baseball field at the school. Connor had saved all of his running numbers from his cross country meets, so we captured a cool image of him throwing them all in the air. We also made sure to take a portrait of Connor with the running shoes and headband he used for cross country.
I'm honored I was able to help capture a few more happy memories of this amazing kid at his beloved school!
